I am the company’s person in charge, why do I still need to “Create a Trip” request ?

The purpose of “Create a Trip” request not only serves as an approval tool for employees to adhere to company policy, it also allows us to categorise and consolidate different trips and the respective expenses incurred.
This allows you to separate different trip expenses for future analysis into your travel expenditure.

What do I need to prepare for “Create a Trip” request?

You are not required to prepare anything to “Create a Trip” request as all travel policy is logged in by your company’s management in the first place.
The selections of airfare and hotel rates that appear in your searches will be within your company’s preset travel policy.

You only need to click on the button “Create a Trip”, then select expense categories that need to include in your business trip such as airfare, lodging cost, transportation cost, daily meal (per diem), other costs etc.
EzBizTrip takes into account real-time market rates and company travel policy when calculating travel costs.

What is “Create a Trip” and why do I need to “Create a Trip” request?

Before booking your flight and hotel for a business trip, you will first need to create a trip request using the button “Create a Trip”.
This trip request is used for predictable costs that may happen during the business trip.
Company managers may be aware of total trip expenses before approval and is able to know how much to allocate for the upcoming trip.
These expenses includes airfare, lodging cost, transportation cost, daily meal (per diem), other costs etc.

How do I know if my request has been accepted?

If your manager approves the request, you will be notified that your trip request is ready. You can book a hotel, flight and manage your business trip by your own way.
If your manager declines the request, you also will be notified that your trip request is rejected, including a note as to why the request was declined with guidelines for creating alternative trip request.
